WorksheetForge ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use our service at worksheetforge.com (the "Service").

We collect the following types of information:

Information you provide directly:

• Email address (required for account creation)
• Full name (provided at signup)
• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details)
• Worksheet topics, subjects, and prompts you submit to generate content
• Any feedback or support requests you send us

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: how often you generate worksheets, which features you use
• Device and browser information
• IP address and approximate location (city/region, never precise)
• Cookies and similar technologies for authentication and basic analytics

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service (generating worksheets, managing your account)
• Process subscription payments via Stripe
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, password resets)
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the Service through aggregate usage analysis
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. Ever.

When you submit a topic to generate a worksheet, that prompt is sent to our AI partner (Anthropic, the makers of Claude) for processing. Anthropic does not retain your prompts for training their models when accessed through their API. The generated worksheet content is then stored in your account.

We use the following third-party services to operate WorksheetForge:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure
• Anthropic — AI worksheet generation

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share information with them as needed to provide the Service.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and secure. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but the Service will not function correctly without authentication cookies.

We retain your account data and worksheets for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g., billing records for tax purposes).

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and personal data
• Export your data (worksheets and account info)
• Opt out of non-essential communications

WorksheetForge is intended for use by educators (teachers, tutors, parents). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Worksheets generated may be used in classrooms with students of any age, but the account holder (the educator) is the only person whose data we collect.

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication, and regular security updates. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you via email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
